3 Movie Recommendations - For When You're Bored

This is probably the wrong time to write about this-considering school work is starting to pile up for most of us but anyways! Have you experienced being so bored but not knowing what movies to watch? And honestly, online recommendations aren’t always the best-at least for me. So here's 3 movies that I watched when I was bored and actually enjoyed them!

Number 1,a Thriller, “Ava”. Now, this is not a movie with a very in-depth lore. All you need to know is it’s quite a light movie about a girl-named Ava of course who is an Assassin. Ava’s Assassin guild views her as a liability and wants to dispose of her, but Ava ends up surviving. This movie stars Jessica Chastain and several other notable actors.

Number 2, “Ticket to Paradise''. This is an even lighter romance movie starring Julia Roberts and a lot of other formidable actors as well. The story starts when Lily went to Bali on a vacation and ends up falling in love with Gede-a local Balinese. Upon hearing the news, Lily’s divorced parents did not take the news well. They ended up traveling to Bali to persuade Lily to pursue her legal career instead of getting married and living permanently in Bali. Upon arriving, they applied a tactic to convince their daughter known as the “Trojan Horse ''. The story then progresses and in the end,Lily still ends up marrying Gede, and Lily’s parents are able to sort out their differences.

My last recommendation would be Train to Busan 2. I only just watched this one recently and I absolutely loved it. This one is not as lighthearted as the other ones. A couple of people decided to re-enter Incheon-a city in Korea which is plagued with zombies everywhere, to collect a truckload filled with huge sums of money. 2 out of the 4 people that came ended up dead after their operation became sabotaged by a gang of people known as unit 361. The people in that city ended up battling zombies and even each other to get to incheon port with the truckload of money-where a cargo ship from HongKong is waiting for them. Not just thrilling, this movie gets absolutely emotional at the end following the death of a notable character and seeing their painful struggle just to survive. This movie is not connected at all-or better known as a standalone movie despite being marketed as the sequel to Train to Busan 1.

Hopefully, these movies will help resolve your boredom-and if they don't-well don’t come for me.
